Every poker player dreams about one day competing in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, the most prestigious tournament in all of poker.
The $10,000 entry fee, however, prevents some from living out that dream. But the 2006 winner, Jamie Gold, along with MyStandard and BBO Poker Table, is giving away a seat in this year’s world championship event.
MyStandard is a Web3 talent platform that puts you in control of your data and rewards you for your skills.
WSOP Main Event Contest Details
Jamie Gold
Gold mastered speech play and used it to help him win $12 million in the 2006 WSOP Main Event. He beat 8,773 entries, a record that stood until 2023 when Daniel Weinman outlasted 10,043 players for the $12.1 million prize.
Gold is now giving someone else an opportunity to become a world champion and win millions of dollars. The contest through MyStandard comes with a $10,000 Main Event seat, round-trip flight to Las Vegas, a minimum five-night hotel stay (longer if the winner runs deep in the tournament), professional poker coaching from Gold, the Fit9 Ultimate Health Retreat package in Atlanta (including fight and hotel), and MyStandard bonus rewards.
The second-place winner will receive a fully customized and personalized poker table from BBO Poker Table. There is a quick four-step process to enter the contest (maximum two entries per person allowed), starting by liking the below Instagram post. The next step is to tag three friends in the comments section. Following @mystandarddotio, @realjamiegold, @fit9atl, and @bbopokertables is required for eligibility.
