Kerryjane Craigie, PokerStars Ambassador and Director of Poker at the Hippodrome Casino, is fired up for a summer of record-breaking poker and game-changing moments for women in the game.
From the bright lights of Vegas to the excitement building for the Womenâs Summer Festival in London this August, sheâs on a mission: grow the game, build community, and inspire more women to take their shot.
Iâm buzzing with excitement! Iâm like a kid at Christmas, except it’s June!
Youâve probably seen the big announcement: the Womenâs Summer Festival is coming this August, hosted by none other than The Hippodrome Casino in London!
This is the perfect follow-up to last Novemberâs Womenâs Winter Festival, where we smashed records, broke barriers, and created something truly special together.
Right now, online qualifiers are running daily on PokerStars, with guaranteed seats at every stageâand yes, thereâs even a daily free-roll! This is your shot to be part of something iconic.
Letâs go big. Letâs reclaim the title of the largest womenâs field outside of the US. I want you to be part of this historic moment in the ÂŁ100,000 guaranteed Main Event.
Women’s Week and the WSOP
Before that, though, Iâm in Vegas for whatâs shaping up to be the biggest Womenâs Week yet! The schedule is packed thanks to months of hard work behind the scenes, with events for every bankroll, 100K guarantees, and even Womenâs High Rollers on offer.
Huge shout-out to Lupe Soto, whose efforts have been instrumental in making this all happen. And thank you to all the venues and organisers who jumped on board with such generosity and energy.
Iâll be at the WPA Breakfast this Thursdayâan incredible highlight during the busiest week of the year for the Womenâs Poker Association. Their dedication to growing and supporting women in poker continues to be a driving force, and Iâm so looking forward to seeing many of you there. If you spot me at the Womenâs Event or at any of the events Iâm playing, come say hi!
Learning All The Time
As I mentioned last month, Iâve been reflecting deeply on my game lately.
Iâve been watching vlogs, tuning into coverage from Vegas, and doing the work to better understand my own approach, especially whatâs working, whatâs not, and where I can grow.
Hereâs what Iâve been reminding myself:
Be bold. Embrace change. Enjoy the game.
- If youâre on this journey with me, hereâs my challenge to you:
- Push your game forwardâsee how much progress you can make in a single tournament, a month, or a year.
- Track your hands. Analyse your wins and losses. Look for the shift.
- Talk hands with great players. Learn from them. Most are more than happy to share whatâs helped them succeed.
You donât need to reinvent everything. Just find the edges, those little improvements that add up over time.
Keep learning. Keep levelling up.
This game is always evolving, and so should we.
